JAMMU, Apr 2: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma today extended greetings to all serving personnel, veterans and families of the Mechanised Infantry on the occasion of its 47th Raising Day.
In a message, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma praised the regiment for its professionalism, operational excellence and dedication to safeguarding the nation.
He said the Mechanised Infantry has played a key role in strengthening the Army’s combat capability with its mobility, firepower and adaptability in different terrains.
He also paid tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty, stating that their sacrifice continues to inspire future generations.
The Northern Command expressed pride in the regiment’s legacy and wished it continued success in the future.
