Officials said the campaign is aimed at safeguarding the fragile ecology of the region and preventing the loss of valuable public resources caused by unauthorized mining. Police teams have been conducting regular inspections and surprise raids at vulnerable spots to deter violators and ensure strict enforcement of the law.
Senior police officers informed that directions have been issued to all police stations to maintain heightened vigilance and take swift action against those indulging in illegal extraction or transportation of minerals.
Police have further appealed to the public to report any such activities in their areas, emphasizing that community cooperation is vital for preserving natural resources and ensuring long-term ecological balance in the district.
