JAMMU, Nov 27: Gujjar and Bakerwal State president, Choudhary Nazakat Khatana has alleged that State Government has deprived them from their basic needs.
This was stated in a press release, wherein Khatana said that the nomadic Gujjar and Bakerwals of Jammu province are deprived of daily ration from different Government Depots, making their lives miserable and starving.
He said that the silence of Government with respect to such ration distribution system may take the lives of these nomads. These nomads always use to visit Government ration depots, returning their homes without ration.
During his visit to district Reasi, Ch Khatana along with his youth body observed that these nomads are being deprived of daily ration. Moreover the newly setup Tehsils are lacking proper staff due to which there is no proper working in different Government Departments.
Those who accompanied the youth body included Ch Mohd Latif, Sajad Ahmed, Ch Inayat Ali, Ch Mohd Ashraf and others.
