SRINAGAR: Governor Satya Pal Malik on Thursday said that no talks will be held with Hurriyat Conference (HC) until they stops taking directions from Pakistan.
“I talk to everyone. I recently met Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and Mohammad Yousif Tarigami? so I meet with everyone. But as far as talks with Hurriyat Conference is concerned, till the time they stop taking instructions from Pakistan no dialogue can be held with them,” Mr Malik told reporters after inaugurating Kashmir Autumn FAM Tour at SKICC here on Thursday.
He further said it is the job of the Government to hold talks and his role is only to create conducive atmosphere for initiating dialogue. “I’m trying to create that atmosphere and the situation has improved from the last couple of months,” he said. (AGENCIES)
