JAMMU, Mar 31: Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today made it clear that no proposal is under the consideration for establishment of Hill Development Council for Rajouri and Poonch districts.
In reply to the question of NC MLA, Javaid Ahmad Rana, the Chief Minister, who is also holding portfolio of Planning Department said, “as of now, no proposal pertaining to the setting up of Hill Council for Rajouri and Poonch is under the consideration of the Government”.
He, however, said that State Government was committed to ensure equitable and balanced development of all the areas of the State with special focus on those areas, which are lagging behind in development.
