Speaking to reporters after attending a one-day orientation for Baramulla’s newly promoted ZEOs and Headmasters, Dr. Itoo said that the weather has improved and school timings have already been adjusted to accommodate students.
“There are no plans as yet because the weather has improved; temperatures are rising, but we have changed the timing keeping that in view. Whenever we feel the need for a summer break, a decision will be taken accordingly,” he said.
Earlier, while addressing the gathering of officers, Dr. Itoo underscored the pivotal role educational leaders play in shaping the future of both students and institutions.
“Educational leadership today is not just about administration, it is about vision, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to excellence,” he said.
He urged the new officers to lead with integrity, clarity, and a student-first mindset, emphasizing the importance of transparency, collaboration and continuous learning.
“Our aim is to empower institutions with capable leadership. Your promotion is not just a position upgrade but a responsibility to bring visible change,” Dr. Itoo said.
DSEK emphasized the crucial role of leadership, transparency, and teamwork in improving the functioning of educational institutions.
