No missiles were fired against any nation since ceasefire began: IRGC

TEHRAN, April 10 : Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has stated that the country has not launched missiles at any nation since a ceasefire agreement with the United States went into effect, according to Al Jazeera.

The IRGC emphasized that its forces “have not launched any missiles at any country during the ceasefire hours up to this time.” The statement added that any reported drone strikes are “undoubtedly the work of the Zionist enemy or the United States.”

On Tuesday night, US President Donald Trump announced a two-week bilateral ceasefire with Iran, confirming that Tehran had agreed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Following this, the Iranian Supreme National Security Council indicated that Iran would begin talks with the US on Friday in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh noted that Tehran is actively pursuing negotiations with the US in Pakistan and expects the US to reciprocate.

Israeli warplanes and artillery targeted over a dozen settlements in southern Lebanon, including the city of Tyre.

Trump clarified that stopping Israeli attacks on Lebanon was not part of the US-Iran ceasefire deal due to the involvement of Hezbollah. Iran, however, viewed the strikes as a breach of the ceasefire agreement.(UNI)
