MOSCOW, Feb 19 : Ukrainians should not expect any positive news in the coming days as the country faces a hard period, ex-Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.
“Do not look for light in the news in the coming days … and remember that everything will be good in the end, and if everything is not good, then it is not yet the end,” Kuleba said on social media on Tuesday.
On Saturday, Kuleba said that it is impossible to put an end to the Ukraine conflict in current conditions, as Kiev believes that it has enough resources to last till mid-summer and till the next batch of European aid.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump spoke over the phone for nearly an hour and a half last week. They discussed issues related to the exchange of Russian and US citizens, as well as the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. The call was followed up by in-person talks between senior Russian and US officials in the Saudi capital of Riyadh on Tuesday.
