JAMMU, Apr 1: Congress MLA Nizam-ud-Din Bhat today staged walked out in the Assembly after his adjournment motion on vacancy of doctors in Bandipora hospital was rejected by Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather.
Bhat raised the issue of absence of the doctors as soon as the Question Hour began.
However, Health and Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo said the doctor has retired two days back and the vacancy will be filled shortly.
Bhat kept on insisting to raise the issue but was told by the Speaker that his adjournment motion has been rejected.
Bhat then walked-out of the House.
