JAMMU, June 27: A meeting of Baba Amarnath & Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas (BABAYN) was held here today under the chairmanship of BABAYN president, Pawan Kumar Kohli to review the arrangements for upcoming Shri Amarnath Yatra starting from July 3, 2025.
Niyas will start Langar Sewa at Shri Geeta Bhawan Jammu from July 1, 2025 and this service will remain in place throughout the Yatra period.
A handout of BABAYN stated that Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu has been requested to inaugurate the Langar Sewa.
Kohli has appealed to the pilgrims from across the country and abroad to come without any fear to perform the holy pilgrimage.
It was also decided that Sudershan Khajuria, general secretary and Shakti Dutt Sharma, vice president of Niyas will visit all the lodgement centres to access the facilities for the pilgrims.
Among others present in the meeting were Anoop Mittal, Deepak Dhawan, vice presidents; treasurer, Bal Krishan Sharma, secretaries Suresh Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Deepak Kumar, Sat Pal Sharma, Rajesh Bhasin and Rakesh Sharma.
