NIT Srinagar is one of the oldset Engineering Institutes of India with highly qualified faculty members and required infrastructure, but capacities of the Iinstitute are not potentially utilised because of political encroachment of minds of local students and lower staff.
Our State is economically dependant and lacks self empowerment capacity, so Kashmiri youth is bound to accept and adopt the permeability of MNC’s to escape job-ischaemia in State. Thousands of Kashmiri youths are studying in different universities of the country for getting quality higher education.
I personally believe that Kashmir youth is most intelligent, hardworking and hungry for quality higher education. His genetic potential and agro-climatic conditions have filled him with God gifted self empowerment ability. Recent Civil Services examination results have shown encouraging trends. Hopes of Kashmir youths fly very high for their dominance in National Administration.
But recent politically poisoned NIT episode has raised questions and injected irritant of competitive inhibitions in the minds of Kashmiri youths serving and studying outside the state. They feel ashamed when look eye to eye with their employers and classmates and sense the silent untold questions.
Youthful period demands mental independence, peace, hard studies to strengthen brain muscle, undisturbed atmosphere, love and encouragement to decorate their future and make it better to live life comfortably.
All honorable men of rank and distinction, having competent jurisdiction and authority should block political poisoning, motivation, anti national inheritance and use of the strength of youth for unachievable goals. Because such politically excited and wildly expressed genetic potential of Kashmiri youth will spoil this priceless, invaluable, rare and precious living treasure of Kashmir.
