JAMMU, Dec 18: A one day Residential Sub-Regional Conference organized by the Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in association with the J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI, was held here today.
The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from Chartered Accountants across the region, making it a significant professional congregation aimed at knowledge sharing, ethical strengthening and contemporary discourse in the profession.
The event was chaired by Jagjeet Singh Jags, Chairman, NIRC of ICAI, who also delivered the opening session on Professional Ethics, highlighting the importance of integrity, independence and responsibility in the evolving professional landscape.
The conference offered 6 Structured CPE Hours and provided a platform for meaningful deliberations on emerging challenges and opportunities within the profession.
The residential format encouraged interaction, networking and peer learning among members.
