JAMMU, July 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned additional charges to senior IAS officer Niraj Kumar and JKAS officer Babila Rakwal in view of the deputation of two senior IAS officers for a mid-career training to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Musoorie.

According to an order issued by the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, IAS officer Niraj Kumar has been given the additional charge of Resident Commissioner J&K and Administrative Secretary, Hospitality and Protocol Department.
The order said that this arrangement will remain in place till the return of incumbent Resident Commissioner, Bhupinder Kumar, who has proceeded on a 21-day mid-career training programme at LBSNAA.
Similarly, senior JKAS officer Babila Rakwal, who is presently posted as Commissioner Secretary Cooperatives Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Rural Development Department.
She will also continue to hold the charge till the incumbent Secretary RDD, Asad Aijaz returns from his 21 days training at LBSNAA, Mussoorie.
