Nine injured in road accidents

Srinagar, Mar 6: Police today said nine persons were injured in different road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK02AJ-1023 collided with a Truck bearing registration number JK02L-6245 at Nepora near petrol pump in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to Farman Malik, Shazad Ahmad Malik and Tarno, all residents of Uttar Pradesh. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
The spokesman said an I-10 car bearing registration number JK18-7876 collided with a Tanker bearing registration number JK01Q-8499 at Chandhara Crossing in Pampore area of Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to Gousia, Mehra Begum, Nissar Ahmad Wani and Amir Ahmad Bhat. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment, he said, adding that a case has been registered in this regard.
The spokesman said a Scooty bearing registration number JK13C-4491 driven by Suhail Ahmad Malik met with an accident near JKEDI building at Pampore in Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to the rider and a pedestrian namely Abdul Qayoom Sheikh. “Both the injured were shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
