Nine injured in 2 road accidents

RAMBAN, July 27: Nine persons were injured here today in two separate road accidents at Chambalwas and Mangit area of Banihal.
Police sources informed that a load carrier vehicle bearing registration number JK19A-8240 while on its way to Banihal from Leavera Chamalwas met with an accident at Leavra Morh leaving three persons injured.
The injured were shifted to SDH Banihal by Police with the help of volunteers of an NGO and they were identified as Tahir Ahmed Malik, 19, son of Mohd Rafiq Malik; Bahar Ahmed, 36, son of Mohd Yassan and Afaq Majeed Malik, 22, son of Abdul Majeed Malik-all residents of Chamalwas, Banihal.
Meanwhile, a rashly and negligently driven mini load carrier vehicle of Tata Mobile make bearing registration number JK19-4817 while on its way to Mangit from Doba Chapnari met with an accident at Nawan Doba Top Link late last night leaving six persons onboard the vehicle injured.
All the injured were shifted to SDH Banihal for treatment and they were identified as Sabzar Ahmed, 24, son of Ghulam Hussain Sheikh; Shakeela Begum, 30, wife of Bilal Ahmed; Samera Akhter, 10, daughter of Bilal Ahmed; Amina Akhter, 6, daughter of Bilal Ahmed; Shizan Ahmed, 2, son of Bilal Ahmed and Bilal Ahmed, 30, son of Mohd Amin-all residents of Mangat.
Police has registered two different cases regarding these accidents and started investigations.
