JAMMU, Sept 9: An MoU was signed between NHPC and Shikshan Vikas Seva Trust towards ‘Furnishing of Shikshan Sankul Hostel Building’ for Scheduled Caste students at Sarkhej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat under the CSR initiative of NHPC. NHPC has sanctioned an amount of Rs 50 lakh for this project under CSR.
The MoU was signed by Group Deputy General Manager (CSR&SD), NHPC and President, Shikshan Vikas Seva Trust in presence of Executive Director (CSR&SD), NHPC at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad.
Under this activity, the Trust will provide free residential facilities to Scheduled Caste students who are pursuing higher education in Ahmedabad.
