JAMMU, June 20: NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower utility and a schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna Enterprise of the Government of India, today signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Power, Government of India for the year 2017-18.
The MoU was signed by Pradeep Kumar Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India and K M Singh, CMD, NHPC in the presence of senior dignitaries from MoP and NHPC.
In the signed MoU for NHPC, generation target under excellent rating has been set as 24000 Million Units as against last year target of 23500 MU. Excellent Targets for Revenue from Operations has been kept as Rs 7350 crores, Operating Profit as a percentage of Revenue from Operations (Net) has been kept as 25.09 percent and PAT/ Average Net Worth has been kept as 7.15 percent.
Further to ensure optimum utilization of budget, CAPEX programme of NHPC has been assigned 10 percent weightage in the MoU 2017-18. Targets regarding Plant Availability Factor, Forced Outage, and Reduction in outstanding claims, Trade Receivables, Dividend/PAT, etc have been included in the MoU.
In addition, Human Resource Management (HRM) related parameters have also been included with 10 percent weightage in the MoU.
