KISHTWAR, Dec 14: NHPC Dulhasti Power Station organized today a free medical camp at Government Senior Secondary School, Sarthal for the local residents under the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development (CSR-SD) Scheme of NHPC.
The camp was organized in collaboration with the District Administration, Kishtwar. The medical camp was inaugurated by Nirmal Singh, General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station.
Dr Nisha Sharma, General Manager (Medical Services), Dr Nasir Irfan, Deputy Chief Medical Officer from Dulhasti Power Station and Dr Salma Kousar, Medical Officer (MD Medicine) and Dr Feroz Ahmed Wani, Medical Officer (PG Pediatrics) of District Hospital Kishtwar conducted health check-up of the people and gave necessary free consultation.
About 327 people were provided free medical checkup during the camp. Further, blood sugar, hemoglobin and urine tests etc were conducted by the paramedical staff and free necessary medicines were also provided. Moreover, elderly, women, men and children enthusiastically participated in the medical camp and availed the available medical facilities.
On the occasion, Dr Ravinder Manhas Chief Medical Officer Kishtwar, Surendra Kumar Mishra General Manager (Electrical) Dulhasti Power Station, Dr R P Singh Deputy General Manager (HR), Ashok Kumar Dhanwal Senior Manager (HR), Davinder Koundal Senior Manager (HR) along with senior officers and employees were present.
