JAMMU, Aug 13: NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company today declared Quarter-I (Q1 FY 2025-26) Standalone Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 1072 Crore against PAT of Rs 1018 Crore for the corresponding previous quarter (Q1 FY 2024-25).
As per the results declared, the NHPS’s revenue has been increased by Rs 561 Crore and energy generated by the company has increased from 6979 MU in Q1 of FY 2024-25 to 8345 MU in Q1 of FY 2025-26, mainly due to commissioning of 800 MW of Parbati-II Power Station (Himachal Pradesh) and 214 MW of Solar Power Project, Bikaner (Rajasthan) during the quarter.
The energy generated by Parbati-III Power Station (Himachal Pradesh) has also increased by 291 MU consequent upon commissioning of Parbati-II Project.
On consolidated basis, the company generated 8996 MU in the current quarter (corresponding previous quarter 7982 MU).
Consolidated profit of the Company for the current quarter is Rs 1065 Crore (corresponding previous quarter Rs 1022 Crore).
The Company operates 30 Power Stations with installed capacity of 8247 MW on consolidated basis.
