NH restored, stranded vehicles cleared

RAMBAN, Apr 18: All stranded vehicles were cleared today after the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was restored this afternoon.
Official sources said that landslides at Cafeteria Morh and Mehar near Ramban was cleared at around 1.30 pm today. There after, the movement of stranded vehicles loaded with essential commodities towards Kashmir was allowed, followed by the movement of load carriers from opposite direction.
Sources added that all the stranded vehicles on both the sides were cleared by this evening and now, the fresh movement of vehicles from Jammu and Udhampur is being allowed towards Valley.
