JAMMU, Nov 20: A two-day skill development training program on tailoring, cutting and stitching organized by Care For You NGO, in collaboration with Usha Silai School was held here today.
The training aimed to empower women and youth from the local community by equipping them with practical tailoring skills, enabling them to pursue self-employment and livelihood opportunities.
Experienced trainers from Usha Silai School guided the participants through hands-on sessions, providing technical knowledge as well as confidence to start small-scale work from home.
The participants appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn valuable skills that can enhance their economic independence.
