NGO gives school bags, stationery kits to children

JAMMU, June 25: As part of its ongoing project CARE, NGO ‘The Sara’ extended vital support to Government Primary School, Qazi Mohra located in shelling hit area of Poonch.
Team members of ‘The Sara’ led by Raminder Jit Singh distributed school bags and stationery kits to 42 school children to help them continue their education.
In addition ‘The Sara’ also provided an overhead water tank to the school to ensure access to clean water for students and staff.
The School Headmistress Anju Sharma expressed heartfelt gratitude to ‘The Sara’ for standing with the children and the community in the time of need.
Parents of the children, local volunteers from SCHH led by Kamal Singh were also present on the occasion.
