JAMMU, Nov 19: Healthy India Stronger India organization distributed notebooks and stationery items among needy students.
Hira Lal Abrol, chairman of the NGO, along with other members of the organization, Dalbir Singh, Principal MC Khalsa High School; Raj Kumar Mehra and Raj Kumar Sodhi, distributed notebooks and stationery items among the children of Chand Nagar Gummat area. Parents of these children were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, a session was also organized for the parents and children to educate them about the ‘Role of Education’ in shaping career of the children.
Speaking on the occasion, Hira Lal Abrol explained the importance of moral education and boosted the moral of students to achieve higher goal in life.
Pertinent to mention that Healthy India, Stronger India is running a ‘Free Training Centre’ for skill development of needy and poor children from BPL families. The training
centre offers 3 months, free courses in Basic Computers; Cutting & Tailoring Classes; Beautician Course as well as Free Library for the students.
