JAMMU, Jan 15: The new office of Director Press was inaugurated by Shabnam Kamili, Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, Administrative Reforms and Inspections (ARI) Department, here today.
Shabnam Kamili was the chief guest during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, she emphasized the role of Director Press in ensuring transparent and timely dissemination of Government directions to the Government Presses for better printing services to Government department.
“The establishment of the new office would strengthen the functioning of both the presses situated at Jammu/Srinagar and build better co-ordination. The office also played a vital role in bridging the gap between both the presses and will significantly enhance administrative efficiency and improve coordination in the functioning of Government presses,” said Shabnam Kamili.
She expressed hope that the new office infrastructure would provide a conducive working environment and enable the department to discharge its responsibilities more effectively.
Director Press, J&K, Aijaz Ahmad Akhoon along with senior officers and staff of the department, were present on the occasion.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks.
