New BSP unit formed in Pargwal, Bodh Raj to lead

JAMMU, Sept 12: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today organized a meeting in Pargwal area of Akhnoor Assembly constituency, during which a new block unit was constituted and Bodh Raj was appointed as Block president.
The meeting was held under the instructions of BSP Jammu and Kashmir president Darshan Rana and attended by State vice president Charanjit Chargotra, coordinator Darshan Thapa and Bhai Chara Committee in-charge Kuldeep Chalotra. The names of newly inducted committee members were also announced.
Speaking on the occasion, Chargotra said the Party was continuously forming new units across the region to strengthen its base. He expressed confidence that Bodh Raj would perform his duties effectively.
Later, the BSP team visited the flood-affected areas of Pargwal, interacted with affected families and demanded immediate relief and rehabilitation measures from the Centre and the J&K Government. Party leaders said BSP workers were actively reaching out to people in distressed areas and highlighting their concerns before the administration.
