Neeraj Anand elected as Convenor of AJCSF

JAMMU, Jan 10: Neeraj Anand has been elected as Convenor of All Jammu Civil Society Forum (AJCSF).
A general body meeting of the All Jammu Civil Society Forum (AJCSF) was held at Partap Bhawan, Dogra Hall Jammu here today. The meeting was necessitated due to the void caused on account of sad and untimely demise of Convenor of AJCSF, Th Gulchain Singh Charak. A two minute silence was observed by almost more than hundred senior members of the society as a mark of tribute and respect to the departed soul.
Opening the meeting the general secretary, Annil Suri gave an overview of the Society activities. Senior members who spoke on the occasion included Yash Paul Gupta, Col Karan Singh, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak. Abdul Majid, Co-Convenor proposed the name of Neeraj Anand, founder member of AJCSF as Convenor which was unanimously accepted by voice vote and was installed as Convenor of AJCSF.
Anand thanked the members present for this honour and responsibility and assured that with the help and guidance of senior members of the society he will try to address the issues and mandate of AJCSF.
Prominent among those present in this meeting included – Padam Shree SP Verma, Arun Gupta CCI president and his team, Yash Paul Gupta, Narayan Singh, Sohail Kazmi, Ved Parkash Sharma, Parveen Sharma (CCBL), Vijay Saraf Sectratery Amar Singh Club, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Raman Gupta, Amanat Ali Shah, S. Peter, Parveen Gupta, Devinder Gupta, Dinesh Mahajan, Surinder Mahajan, presidents of Bari Brahamana, Gangyal Industrial Association and many other senior members of the Civil Society.
