There are no takers of Mani Shanker Aiyer in giving clarification that literal meaning of Neech was not correctly translated by him from English as he was not good in Hindi . We know Aiyer has been brought up in Delhi from his youthful days, school, college etc and speaks better Hindi and Urdu. The very derogatory words used for the country’s Prime Minister in chaste Hindi were deliberate, intentional and pointed .
This is utter frustration and never acceptable in civilised debates and discussions . Criticism, if prescribed by the conscience , should be full of civility and not insulting one.
Indian politics has been touching very low as instead of debates and discussions, personal character assassinations have become the fashion. It is also not very much effective to just suspend him from the Party and not sack him as he has been found indulging in such un- parliamentary language mostly against the present PM.
The damage controlling act on behalf of the Congress could not be taken as adequate and commensurate to the nature of foul language used .
