NEW DELHI, July 14: Professor Pankaj Arora, Chairman of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), today unveiled “Panchkosha in NEP 2020: A Road Map for Holistic Development”, authored by visionary educationist Darshan Kumar, a Government school teacher from Poonch.
Joining the Chairman on stage was Mahendra Kapoor, National Organising Secretary of ABRSM. The release ceremony took place at NCTE headquarters in New Delhi.
The book explores how the ancient Panchakosha framework comprising five layers of human existence: Body, Energy, Mind, Wisdom and Bliss can be cultivated within classroom settings to foster comprehensive student development.
This book offers teachers and schools a structured roadmap to achieve Panchkosha in daily lessons. It provides concrete strategies to cultivate creativity, emotional health, self confidence, resilience, and intrinsic joy in students.
With formal release support, Panchkosha in NEP 2020 is now available through educational publishers and major online retailers. The book is expected to guide thousands of schools, teachers, and parents in realising NEP 2020’s objective of nurturing well rounded, resilient, and joyful learners capable of thriving beyond academic exams.
