JAMMU, Oct 6: National Conference Students Union today sought wi-fi facilities for scholars pursuing academics in the University of Jammu on the analogy of a mechanism available in premier institutions of higher learning across the country.
During a meeting of its office bearers, the NCSU said that such a facility will go a long way in enhancing the academic standards as the scholars will have access to internet facility.
Youth National Conference provincial vice president Yashu Vardhan Singh also participated in the meeting, which also discussed various other issues pertaining to the students and scholars, especially with regard to upkeep and upgrading of facilities in the university hostel, e-banking facilities and sponsorship programmes for various events being conducted from time to time.
The NCSU hoped that the university management would look into the promoting sports activities, enhancing academic standards and youth exchange programmes.
