NCC outplays Oriental Club by 25 runs

Inter Panchayat/Block Level Cricket Tournament

JAMMU, Jan 23: National Cricket Club defeated Oriental Cricket Club by 25 runs in the ongoing Inter-Panchayat/Block Level Cricket Tournament, being organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports J&K Jammu in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council.
The tournament is being organized under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General Youth Services & Sports J&K, while Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu is the Organizing Secretary of the tournament.
The matches are being supervised by the senior cricket coaches of J&K Sports Council-Naveen Sharma and Randhir Singh.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, National Cricket Club scored 170 runs in the allotted overs. Akshit Gandral top scored with 55 runs, while Vijay Dogra contributed 43 runs to the total.
In reply, Oriental Cricket Club managed to score 145 runs, thus lost the match by 25 runs. Kanwar Saini top scored with 44 runs.
The second match of the day was in progress between Eleven Star Cricket Club and Agore Cricket Club.
