RAJOURI, June 20: 1 J&K Arty Bty NCC Poonch under the command of Camp Commandant Col Rakesh Bahuguna, is conducting a Combined Training Camp at SSVS Degree College Sunderbani from June 15 to June 24.
About 400 cadets (boys and girls), nine Associate NCC officers, five PI Staff and two PI guest staff are participating in the camp. The camp aims to bring unity and discipline among the students to make them better citizens.
The various aspects of training which are being imparted to the cadets include; Firing, Drill, Guard of Honour practice, PT And central lectures on NCC related subjects and other society upliftment related topics. Besides this, preparations are in full swing for celebration of International Day of Yoga, scheduled on June 21, 2017.
The Camp Commandant Col Rakesh Bahuguna has expressed his sincere gratitude for the timely assistance extended by the District Development Commissioner Rajouri and Shri Swami Vishwatama Nand Saraswati Ji Maharaj who has provided the required accommodation and assistance.
