NC should apologise for wrong remarks: Tahir

JAMMU, Mar 5: J&K BJP spokesperson, Dr. Tahir Choudhary has condemned the remarks made by NC MLA Mir Saifullah regarding developments in PoJK.
Addressing a press conference here today, Dr. Choudhary flayed Saifullah for creating a misleading narrative.
“The reality is that PoJK is facing severe economic distress, infrastructural collapse and lack of basic amenities. There are continuous anti-Pak protests with people waving Indian flags and demanding integration with India,” he stated.
Dr. Choudhary also took a dig at Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for linking PoJK’s developments to China.
He demanded a public apology from Abdullah and the NC.
“BJP will not tolerate such falsehoods aimed at distorting the truth. If necessary, we will take strong action against such statements,” Dr. Choudhary maintained adding: “NC has a soft corner for Pakistan and China.”
He said that NC always misled the people of J&K. Reiterating BJP’s unwavering commitment to the development of J&K, Dr. Choudhary said that BJP will never compromise on the interests of J&K or the Dogra community.
Veenu Khanna, secretary, J&K BJP and Anu Gupta, senior leader were also present in the press conference.
