JAMMU, Apr 21: The National Conference leaders and workers paid rich tributes to late Bodh Raj Bali, senior leader and former Minister on his 11th death anniversary at Sher-i-Kashmir Bhawan, here today.
In this connection a meeting was held at party headquarter under the chairmanship of State vice-president, Rattan Lal Gupta, which was attended by senior party leaders and prominent workers.
While addressing the gathering, Gupta appreciated the efforts of Bodh Raj Bali for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden people of the State during his tenure as Minister. He also appreciated his services as party president. He termed Bali as a guiding force for the NC workers in Jammu province.
While paying floral tributes to late Bodh Raj Bali, provincial secretary, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, asserted that NC is a disciplined organisation and young workers should prepare themselves to work as per guidelines set by the senior leaders, to strengthen the party at gross root level and face the future challenges.
