JAMMU, May 12: NC leader Rajesh Gupta here today visited Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital Jammu and enquired about the condition of civilians injured in the recent Pakistan shelling in Poonch.
He was accompanied by Dr. Ashutosh Gupta, GMC Jammu Principal.
R.C Sharma, president Akhil Bharatiya Bharashtachar Nirmulan Sangharsh Samiti, J&K also joined them and expressed solidarity with the victims and their families.
During visit, the NC leader expressed concern over the inhumane attack and praised the bravery of Indian Army.
Highlighting the successful retaliatory action of Indian troops, Gupta said: “The destruction caused by our Army has compelled Pakistan to agree for a ceasefire.” He further said that these strategic actions have sent a clear and powerful message reaffirming India’s unwavering commitment to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
