RAMBAN, Oct 24: Senior NC leader, Rajesh Gupta here today called on Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban, Alyas Khan and discussed the extensive damage caused by the recent rains across Ramban.
The meeting focused on relief, restoration and compensation measures being undertaken by the administration.
The DC briefed Gupta about restoration efforts stating that most of the roads damaged due to landslides have been restored and compensation to the affected families for loss of property and livestock is being disbursed as per norms.
The NC leader appreciated the pace of restoration works after the calamity triggered by the heavy rains. He said that Khan listens to the grievances of the public patiently and ensures prompt redressal.
