JAMMU, June 27: Apni Party’s Provincial president for Jammu, and former Minister, Manjit Singh has alleged that the NC Government has failed to work for the welfare of the people in Jammu and Kashmir.
While speaking during a joining function organized at party office here today, Manjit Singh welcomed prominent activist Harmeet Singh. He asked the party leaders to increase their activities at the ground level, and hold constant meetings at every nook and corner in the region.
Singh said that the issues of the general masses shall be highlighted because they are disappointed with the present Govt in J&K and the BJP.
“The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has offered to resign / dissolve the Assembly as he knows that they could not perform as per expectations of the people,” he said, citing media reports that claim that the Chief Minister has offered to resign if the Statehood would be restored.
He said that the NC Govt is offering to resign because it wants to hide from the failures. On the other hand, he said, the BJP legislators in Jammu region have also disappointed the people as they were unable to initiate developmental works.
“There is dismay against the BJP in Jammu,” he stated.
