BATOTE, Feb 9: Omar Abdullah led Government is committed to faster development of remote and far-flung areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
This was stated by National Conference Additional General Secretary and former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra.
Interacting with people, here today, Sadhotra assured the people that the National Conference dispensation will take decisive steps to accelerate progress, improve infrastructure and speed up the efficient delivery of essential services to enhance the ease of life for the citizens.
“NC remains steadfast in its mission to bridge the developmental gaps that have persisted in various regions, particularly in rural and underprivileged areas. The party will work tirelessly to create robust infrastructure, improve road connectivity, enhance power and water supply to uplift the standard of living for all,” he said.
Criticizing the BJP’s ten-year rule in Jammu and Kashmir, the NC leader said, “It had caused immense suffering to the people, both directly and indirectly.”
He assured that the NC Government will take corrective measures to undo the policy failures and injustices inflicted on the people over the past decade.
Earlier, the NC leaders also visited the house of Arif Wani District Secretary to condole the death of his father, who was also former Secretary of Ramban district of the Party and also visited Batote to condole the death of mother of Arshad, Block president Batote.
Among other were present on the occasion included Abdul Gani Malik, Ayub Malik, Abid Magray, Ch Aslam Khan, Randhir Singh, Ashwani Charak, Arif Mir, Sunil Verma, Ram Parashotam, Capt Paviter Singh and Naresh Chand.
