‘Gear up for ULB, Panchayat polls’

JAMMU, Jan 4: Former minister and Central Zone president of National Conference from Jammu region, Babu Ram Paul today said that party is committed to fulfill its promises made with the public before Assembly elections.
Addressing a meeting of the officer bearer of Central Zone at party office here today, Paul said National Conference is committed to uphold the rights and dignity of the weaker sections of the society and the government headed by dynamic Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is delivering on ground. He said that the government is fulfilling its promises made with the public before elections.
The woman are enjoying free ride in Government run buses and the down trodden section is being benefitted.
Paul said that the school, college and office going females travelling by public transport can now reach their destinations to and fro without spending any penny. He further said similarly other poll promises are being fulfilled like there is no hike in electricity charges etc. The Government is tirelessly working to fulfill as poll promises with shortest possible time.
He asked the cadre to reach out to common masses and highlight the achievements of the Omar led government and prepare for the Municipal/ ULB and Panchayat elections which can be announced anytime this year.
