NC assails PDP-BJP for deteriorating security situation

BATOTE,  Apr 8: National Conference district Ramban unit today  expressed concern over deteriorating security situation  in the State.
“The PDP-BJP Government has plunged the state into unprecedented crisis which has resulted in deaths and human sufferings across the Valley”,  district president  Sajjad Shaheen said while addressing people, as part of party’s mass contract programme at Batote today.
He also blamed the `coalition’ for failing on all fronts, especially the development thus pushing the State to backwards. He particularly referred to erratic power supply and scarcity of drinking water, saying these basic services needed priority attention.
Speaking on the occasion, former MLC and Provincial vice president, Brij Mohan Sharma assailed the Government for growing unemployment, failure in providing salaries to different segments of employees timely and delays in regularization of daily rated workers.
He said the Government has betrayed the people and all the promises made during elections have proven hoax.
Former MLA and provincial vice president Dr Chaman Lal also addressed the meeting and expressed concern over developmental paralysis besides administrative inertia, which have added to the problems of the people.
