JAMMU, Aug 30: Social activist and chairperson Nirbhay Bharat Foundation (NBF), Tarun Uppal today demanded installation of CCTV surveillance cameras in Emergency Wards of all Government hospitals across the UT of J&K.
In a statement issued here, Uppal emphasized that many incident of deaths are being witnessed in the Government Hospitals in J&K due to the negligence of officials and doctors as cited by the attendants of patients in different Government run Hospitals during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Uppal requested the UT administration to install CCTV surveillance cameras in all Government run hospitals so as to keep a check on negligence of officials posted at the hospitals. “Surveillance cameras should be installed in all Government run hospitals to monitor any untoward occurrence and deliverance of public services by the hospital administration so that enquiry can be initiated against the staff in case of any negligence,” Tarun said.
