JAMMU, Sept 21: The members of students council of Navyug High Secondary School were administered oath of the office during an impressive Investiture Ceremony held in the multi purpose hall of the school .
The ceremony began with the lightening of traditional lamp by chief guest of the function Yudhvir Sethi (senior leader BJP) followed by welcome songs by the teachers of the school.
Preetika Jamwal, Principal of the school administered the oath of the office to school captains , house captain and house prefects. After taking oath , badges were pinned by the chief guest Yudhvir Sethi , Madan Lal Abrol (president Avantika) and Hardev Singh Jamwal , managing director of the school.
Akanksha Gupta and Akshit Basur of 10th class were appointed as School Captain whereas Shruti Handoo , Predikta, Diksha and Rashi were appointed as House Captain of Progress, Liberty, Fraternity and Peace House respectively. Those who administered oath of house prefect are Jatin, anurag, Riya, Shagun, Karan, Dhruv, Sajal, Nikita , Samiksha, Kajal, Kushal and Devansh.
