Natrang Theatre Workshop for Children begins

JAMMU, Dec 26: Natrang Winter Theatre Workshop for Children-2016 was inaugurated here today at Natrang studio Theatre.
The workshop is being conducted by Aarushi Thakur, who is a post graduate from University of Leister, UK with specialized training in Dramatics from Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London and assisted by Mohd. Yaseen, National Scholarship holder from Ministry of Culture, Govt of India.
The major faculty of this workshop include senior actor/director Neeraj Kant and Sumeet Sharma-a Post Graduate in Dramatics who has also been conferred with the National award for direction in theatre.
The workshop was inaugurated by Natrang director, Padamshree Balwant Thakur. He informed that this unique camp would provide a rarest opportunity to children to enable them to explore their immense inner creative and artistic abilities.  The timing of the camp will be 4 pm to 6 pm daily and they will have the occasion to get trained under professionally trained directors of Natrang.
During the twelve day winter camp, the children will learn and explore personality development, confidence building, communication skills, acting, stagecraft and much more with the help of highly latest theatre exercises developed in Europe and USA.
Those, who attended the inaugural session,  included Manu Kalra, Sumedha Manhas, Puneesh Singh Manhas, Devisha Gaur, Kaashvi Taggar, Yaagyaseni Bhat, Vedant Mahey, Mehak Chib, Daksh Chib, Deeksha Thakur, Arun Singh, Katyayana, Stavya Kapahi, Nandini Singh, Kushan Baliya, Ananya Verma, Asma Gul, Rudhit Singh, Lakshay Singh, Suhaani Gupta, Parth Gupta, Aviral Kapoor, Nancy Sharma, Shruti Sharma, Mannat Soni, Mannan Soni, Krishang Gandotra, Ashint Kaur, Divyam Sharma, Vasumana Bakshi, Navneet Subramanium and Abhinandan Nangla.
