Natrang stages six shows of play ‘Aap Hamare Hain Kaun’

JAMMU, Feb 6: Six show series of the play ‘Aap Hamare Hain Kaun’ organized by the Natrang was opened for the audiences of Jammu, here today.
The plays are being presented with the support of Jal Jeevan Mission, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages and North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala.
The play written and directed by Padmashree Balwant Thakur has been selected for being featured in World’s Largest International Theatre festival.
For Jammu audiences, this show has been kept free and will also be repeated on 7th and 9th of February at Abhinav Theatre.
Speaking on the occasion, Balwant Thakur said that Natrang has a mission to take theatre every home in Jammu and appealed all to support Natrang’s endeavours and come, greet the young stars of Jammu who are destined to create a history for this region.
The play Aap Hamare Hain Kaun jolts parents, educationists and guardians out of their deep reverie of materialism, consumerism and unbridled ambition.
The play powerfully addresses the contemporary challenges faced by the younger generation, pressures imposed not by enemies, but by their own loved ones and immediate surroundings, making it both a mirror to society and a call for introspection and change.
The young artist who performed in the play included Aanandita Dutt, Samaeira Raina, Dwijesh Dutta, Aadhwika Gupta, Mahira Gupta, Anmol Sharma, Advik Sharma, Ruhaan Chandan, Kavish Sharma, Rishaan Marhatta, Suhani Sareen, Priyal Ashok Gupta, Supria Gorka, Aarohi Singh, Aaradhaya Thakur, Sachetas Anand, Araiya Shan and Gautam Bhagat.
The music of the play is composed by Suraj Singh who was supported by Rakesh Kumar on Rhythm. Neeraj Kant was the production Head whereas the show was coordinated by Pawan Verma, Kushal Bhat and Kananpreet Kaur.
