JAMMU, Aug 10: Theatre group ‘Natrang’ here today staged Balwant Gargi’s famous comedy play ‘Kabab Mein Haddi’.
The play was directed by Neeraj Kant.
Naseem and Safdar are two college friends. Naseem is in love with Jameela. Both are post-graduate students studying in a university. Jameela is putting-up in girls’ hostel whereas Naseem and Safdar are living in a rented home.
Despite having engaged they hardly find any space and avenue to meet to share feelings.
Jameela’s hostel warden is very strict and hardly allows her to move out while Naseem’s sticky friend Safdar hardly leaves him.
Mustering courage and pulling in all resources they plan outing on Friendship Day. The moment they step-out, Safdar makes entry and forcefully accompanies them and spoils their every precious moment.
Finally they get an opportunity to meet but the same is spoiled by their sincere friend. In fact Safdar sincerely wants to help both but his overwhelming concern creates dramatic turns in the story.
Artists who performed in the play were Aryan Sharma, Kartik Kumar and Palshin Dutta; lights were executed by Neeraj Kant and Kushal Bhat gave the music while the presentations were done by Adaksh Bagal.
