Natrang presents ‘Phases of life’

JAMMU, Oct 2: Natrang today presented an out of the box performance of a devised play “Phases of life” conceptualised, designed and directed by Rahul Singh.
The play showcased the parts of life every soul goes through but keeps a comfort zone or a shell to live in and if the person comes out of the shell they start fading. They are lost, alone, shattered. Why? because they want to stay in that shell, their relief level. When a person comes out of it then only he or she can experience life and its complications.
At some point of time we all have to face difficulties and those difficulties are the learning experiences of life’s journey. Every soul needs a support, someone to be dependent on and chooses an easy way to move forward and lives safe in the shell. The shell, all of us crave for, a safe place, a calm where you and your sentiments make an escape. Escape from the shell is mandatory to experience life and crack the glass of boundaries.
The play portrayed various elements of life with actions and devised choreography. The four actors played with their body parts and experimented with the emotions each of them go through in day to day life, trying to please the world, compete, try and fall down then again get up, be dependent, break the walls and be free.
The actors Shivam Singh, Mohit Koul, Gautam Kumar and Gautam Sharma with an energetic zeal portrayed the play in a gripping manner. The lights were executed by Rahul Singh and music was played by Neeraj Kant. The show was coordinated by Mohd Yaseen and Gopi Sharma did the presentations of the play.
