Natrang presents mega musical-theatre “Mata Ki Kahani” at Mahotsav-2025

JAMMU, Dec 20: A spectacular single show of the mega musical-theatre presentation “Mata Ki Kahani” was staged at the Science College Ground, Jammu, as part of Mahotsav-2025, organised by LJK Economic Growth and Development Dialogue (LEAD) and presented by Natrang.
Conceptualized, designed and directed by Padamshiri Balwant Thakur, “Mata Ki Kahani” emerged as one of the ultimate attractions of Mahotsav-2025, drawing an overwhelming response from audiences who witnessed an extraordinary artistic interpretation of the timeless legend of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. The production offered a rare blend of devotion, culture and contemporary theatrical aesthetics, transforming the open-air venue into a spiritually charged performance space.
Giving details about the shows, Balwant Thakur, the Director of Natrang, informed that it took him over two years in creating this ultimate wonder on stage taking help of top professionals of Bollywood Film industry and talented designers, directors, music composers, choreographers, and art directors of theatre world.
The most significant part of this performance is the usage of traditional narratives of Mata Vaishno Devi which have been echoing in the hills of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi since last over one thousand years. This mind-blowing presentation is an assimilation of music, dance, drama and the latest developed techniques of visual magnifications and languages of images.
Seventy accomplished artists/performers/technicians/designers have mounted this presentation. Prominent amongst those included Neeraj Kant, Pawan Verma, Sunny Mujoo, Palshin Dutta, Kananpreet Kaur, Vandana Thakur, Sheetal Sen, Poonam Thakur ,Suhani Sareen, Sakshi Gupta, Suhani Bhasin, Pallavi Kumari, Pallavi Pathak, Suhani, Malik Madiha, Divyanshi Rajput,Prerna Kumari, Musrat Bano, Radhika Khajuria, Lakshmi Bhagat ,Priyal Ashok Gupta, Nidhima Thakur, Mansi Rajput, Deepshika Sharma, Sonika Devi, Vansh Pandotra, Mihir Gujral, Ankit Shamta, Amit Singh, Udhay Chadha, Harsh Kumar, Aryan Verma, Varun Satotra, Hari Mansh Bhan, Krishna Satotra, Aryan Singh, Akant Bral, Sanket Bhagat, Kushal Bhat, Vishal Sharma, Raghubir Singh and Khushal Banotra. The presentation was coordinated by Mohd. Yaseen and Aadesh Dhar.
