Natrang to present ‘Rashomon’, ‘Party to Banti Hai’ on July 19, 20

JAMMU, July 17: First time in the history, Natrang is going to present two world classics in two days.
The first one is ‘Rashomon’ based Rynosuqe Akutagawa’s  Japanese world classic which is being staged in Hindustani on July 19 (Saturday) at Amar Mahal under the direction of Aarushi Thakur. The second world classic is being presented through children based on Charles Dickens ‘Christ Carol’  through its Hindustani adaptation ‘Party To Banti Hai’ under the direction of Sumeet Sharma on July 20 (Sunday) at the auditorium of Government Women College, Parade.
This was informed by Natrang Director Balwant Thakur while interacting with media persons here today.
Giving details Balwant Thakur informed that Jammuites are being treated with rarest of the theatrical creations by Natrang to beat the heat of summers.
He added that the artists who are going to participate in both the plays include Gopi Sharma, Chander Pratap Singh Bhau, Deepshikha Sharam, Sanchita Dubey, Aanandita Sethi, Riya Jandial, Amranta Dhar, Anubhav Sharma, Sahil Singh Anand, Akshat Kohli, Divyan Sharma, Aarushi Gupta, Paarmita Sharma, Vedaant Sharma, Yajur Sharma, Suditi Jamwal, Shambhavi Sharma, Sanket Bhagat, Hitin Jamwal, Eiten Jamwal, Dushyant Dhar, Sparshita Sharma, Kartikay Sharma, Mridul Sharma, Vandita Sharma, Anika Gupta Haryansh Gupta, Medha Gupta, Anirudh Bhatia, Swaranjali Sambyal, Asma Gul, Baani Kaur, Utkarsh Mahajan, Anav Jain, Mahak Bansal, Soumya Jain, Arshiya Jain, Shivangini Sharma, Gauri Sharma, Mihir Gujral, Mania Gujral, Chirag Anand, Satvika Gandotra, Sanyam Gupta, Shreya Gupta, Sanya Gupta, Varun Sharma, Gaurav Jamwal, Ashwani Bali, Uplaksh Singh Kotwal, Rajan Thakyal, Namit Dubey, Sachin Saini, Vanshika Gupta, Susheel Raina, Rohan Kapoor, Amit Raina, Amit Andotra and Shazia Batool.
