JAMMU, Feb 19: National meet of Forum of Women In Public Sector (WIPS) was held under the aegis of Standing Conference Of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) in New Delhi and it was based on the theme ‘Create Your Own Sunshine’.
The meeting was addressed by the chief guest, Vijaya K. Rahatkar, Chairperson, National Commission for Women and guest of honour, Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE & Member, Governing Body, ILO in the presence of Varsha Raut, president WIPS and other office bearers of WIPS.
The meeting brought together over 500 participants and during the event, awards were presented to exemplary women performers of PSEs.
While addressing the gathering, the speakers emphasized that women in public sector are vital to organisation’s performance and nation’s progress.
