National Integration Camp begins at Nagrota

JAMMU, Oct 26: The National Integration Camp (NIC), being conducted by NCC Group Jammu at NCC Camping Ground, Nagrota, commenced here today.
The camp, being organized under the aegis of NCC Directorate Jammu & Kashmir with an aim to promote national integration, solidarity and develop camaraderie among the youth, would conclude on November 6.
Nearly, 550 NCC Cadets and Associate NCC Officers (ANO’s) representing 17 NCC Directorates from all over India are taking part in the camp. This year’s theme of the camp is “MY EARTH MY DUTY”. The effort will provide an opportunity to the cadets to share their views and opinions besides participating in a host of sports, cultural, educational and recreational activities including visit to various places of tourist interest in and around Jammu.
The NCC Directorate in collaboration with various departments of the state especially Defence Forces, White Nigh Corps is making an endeavor to showcase the beauty and cultural vibrancy of this region and its people as also its geo political importance besides the role of defense forces in ensuring safety, security and integrity of the Nation.
Various eminent persons and gallantry award winners, civilian and defense dignitaries, Director General NCC and General Officer Commanding Fire & Fury, are scheduled to visit the camp and interact with cadets.
