National Conference organised at Aryans College concludes

JAMMU, Mar 1: A two-day National Conference on “Disaster Management & Resilient Infrastructure” organized at Aryans College of Engineering, near Chandigarh was concluded here today.
The conference was jointly organized with the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under AICTE-VAANI (Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages) scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr J K Saini, Director, Aryans College of Engineering highlighted the importance of this conference.
Sessions focused on various topics including Natural disasters Disaster Management concept, Disaster preparedness, Early Warning, Disaster recovery, Community resilience training, Disaster response, Disaster management cycle, Disaster risk Reduction, A disaster resilient design, Early assessment of disasters, Disaster resilient infrastructure, Risk management, Vulnerable communities etc were discussed.
12 seminars conducted and concluded on National Science Day, across Nation to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir C V Raman.
The 12 sessions were addressed by Dr Amit Goyal, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, Dr Debashishm Dr Hemant, Chitkara University, Chandigarh, Dr Kaushik Bharti and Ifra, SVIET, Chandigarh, Rahul, Doaba Group of Colleges, Mudasir Ahmad, Aryans College of Engineering, Dhamika Singla, AIMT, Rajpura, participants from Swami Vivekananda Institute, Quest Group of Colleges and Gulzar Group of Colleges also attended this conference.
